제31회 사단법인 서울오케스트라 콩쿨 대상전에서는 초등부부터 일반부까지 다양한 연령의 많은 참가자들이 경합을 벌였다.
성악, 관악기, 현악기, 피아노 부문에서 공정한 심사로 전체대상, 의진장학재단상, 의진장학재단 특별상을 수여하게 되었다.
본선을 거쳐 초등부 5명, 중등부 5명, 고등부 6명, 대학부 2명, 일반부 1명이 대상전에서 경쟁하였으며,
예년과 비교하면 초등부와 중등부의 참여가 많고 연주력 향상을 볼 수 있었다.
전체적으로 서울오케스트라 콩쿨 참가자들의 수준이 회가 거듭하면서 나아지는 것을 생각하면
